If you haven't heard of this game series, give it a look.
A throwback to the old days of point and click adventure games, and made with game making software Adventure Gaming Studio, the "John Defoe" series by Yahtzee Croshaw is, in short, pretty damn well made.

Needless to say these particular sketches are characters from that series.
